Welcome to SaveAScholar, a non-profit organization. This is a budding outreach project; and our mission is to help some poor African village kids through college. You are not required to make a financial donation to this outreach. We organize a monthly African music dance and social event called African Soul Jam in  New York City. The event is primarily to enjoy and dance to great rhythms from Africa; If there is admission cover, part of the proceeds realized will be used to support education causes in needy African communities.

This dance social gathering is unique because we are not using it as a means to an end. Here are some of the things in it for you: You mingle, network, and dance with multicultural or like-minded individuals; You enjoy great music that you don't normally hear on  New York airwaves; and your presence could make a big difference in some people's life. 

We believe in using good music event for good causes - not only because it is the right thing to do but because it makes sense. This way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.
